Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak English; Spanish helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Experience with electrical controls and basic schematics.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to size and troubleshoot VFDs.
• Knowledge of GMP Food Safety and quality principles.

Responsibilities

• Update and monitor a preventative maintenance program.
• Coordinate day-to-day preventative maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment.
• Order parts to ensure availability of spare parts.
• Perform repairs and assist in system improvements.
• Operate equipment for diagnostics and break relief as required.
• Ensure safe and professional work practices.
