Job summary

The MediLodge of Taylor in Taylor, MI is seeking a Maintenance Crew member for day and afternoon shifts. This role supports the upkeep of the facility’s building and grounds, helping create a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, monitor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and assist with renovations or contractor projects. MediLodge is Michigan’s largest provider of long-term care, offering strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair to keep building and equipment in good order.
• Monitors renovations, remodeling or contractor projects.
• Maintains and repairs HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers and dryers and other equipment.
• Participates in painting, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
• Inspects fire control equipment and sprinkler systems.
• Maintains facility logs for safety compliance and surveys.
