Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to keep plant machinery in excellent working order. You will troubleshoot, repair CNC machines and robotics, perform PMs, and train junior staff as needed.

With limited supervision, you’ll diagnose issues, replace parts, maintain tools and work in a well-lit, temperature-controlled shop. A $2,000 hiring bonus is offered to selected candidates.

Qualifications

• Three years of preventive industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• CNC grinding, machining equipment, or HVAC experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues, dismantle machines, replace parts, and reassemble for efficient operation.
• Repair CNC machines and robotics.
• Provide training to less experienced maintenance staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and maintenance area.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
