Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Racine clubs safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and respond to work orders through our CMMS, ensuring reliable operations daily.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving, and good communication to update leadership and collaborate with a team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred; training available.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Experience with CMMS/maintenance software and basic project management tools.
• Valid driver's license; occasional use of a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on club equipment and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Respond to work orders via CMMS and document repairs in the system.
• Maintain cardio and strength equipment in safe working condition.
• Collaborate with General Manager and vendors to complete repairs.
