Job Summary
We are looking for apartment Maintenance Technicians to fill immediate openings that will service multiple apartment communities in the Clifton Park Area. Daily travel stipend provided. The qualified candidate will have at least two years of related experience, including assessing and making repairs from work orders, apartment turnovers, painting, cleaning, maintaining property grounds, and snow removal. Critical components of this position are the ability to work on‑call, execute high‑quality work with attention to detail, and a genuine interest in serving clients, residents, and fellow employees. Essential Functions
- Responds to work orders from residents by assessing issues and making needed repairs. Examples may include electrical and plumbing repairs that do not require specialist and repairing drywall, doors, and other building fixtures.
- Patches, paints, and cleans apartment interiors to specified standards and schedules.
- Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the apartment community and common areas.
- Maintains property exterior and grounds, including snow removal and removal of debris. Keeps walkways safe and clean. Walks grounds daily and looks for hazards, trash, or unsightly or unsafe conditions, checks dumpster area daily.
- Demeanor courteous and professional, can communicate and react with sense of urgency.
- Maintains positive customer service attitude and professional communications.
- Completes required logs, work orders, Entrata records, and other documents.
- Complies with applicable safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Basic plumbing, electrical, painting/patching, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas.
- Knowledge of tools and machinery and proper maintenance and operation.
- Ability to work on‑call and overtime hours.
- Maintain professionalism while in continuous contact with residents and employees.
- Knowledge of painting and patching.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and techniques.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. without the assistance of tools or devices.
- Ability to operate a company truck, keep it clean, and maintain adequate fuel.
- Ability to multi‑task and establish priorities.
- Ability to manage time.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
- Cannot be a resident of a Sunrise‑managed apartment community.
- Must have a valid, clean New York State driver’s license.
- Must have own vehicle for commute and between sites.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour.
