Job summary

E‑Space in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day equipment maintenance in a thin-film PV manufacturing environment, focused on PMs, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and maintaining uptime on vacuum systems, robotics, conveyors and process equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience, CMMS familiarity, and the ability to work in a cleanroom setting with potential

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably semiconductor, electronics, or cleanroom.
• Experience performing PMs and troubleshooting on production equipment including vacuum systems, robotics, conveyors, and process tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS for work order management and maintenance tracking.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance SOPs, equipment manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on sputter systems, laser trim equipment, photolithography tools, wet etch, electrical plating tools, and assembly packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Operate and maintain robotics, conveyors, industrial ovens, cryogenic components, vacuum hoses, bearings and chain drives in a cleanroom environment.
• Log all maintenance activities in the system including work orders, asset tracking and maintenance history.
• Support equipment calibration and process stabilization to improve production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Follow lockout/tagout, EHS and cleanroom protocols during maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Engineer/Manager on scheduling and prioritizing maintenance activities.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and line expansion projects as needed.
