Job summary

McDonald's in a franchisee-owned restaurant is seeking a Maintenance Person to support management in keeping interior and exterior areas clean and in good repair, and to help maintain restaurant equipment.

The role includes oil fryer filtration, grounds maintenance, cleaning, trash disposal, changing light bulbs, HVAC/Exhaust cleaning, and other duties as assigned; eligible for Archways to Opportunity education benefits. Competitive pay and benefits are offered by the independent franchisee.

Qualifications

• The Maintenance Person supports management in keeping the restaurant clean and well-maintained.
• Experience with cleaning, grounds upkeep, and basic equipment care is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily
• Maintain outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
