Ryan Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX to provide building coverage and support for a class A property. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, assist with housekeeping, respond to tenant requests, and support onsite maintenance and management teams to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED with an ability to perform general handyman repairs.
• Clear driving record and basic knowledge of computer applications.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and work from a ladder or overhead.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions and respond to tenant requests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property/building grounds, public areas, parking lots, roof; remove debris daily; seasonal outside duties as required.
• Create work orders for deficiencies observed during walks.
• Maintain mechanical rooms and utility rooms in organized conditions.
• Support maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders.
• Respond to tenant requests and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Monitor and report slip and trip hazards; perform security checks of restricted access points.
• Pressure-washing trash rooms and sidewalks; replace lamps as required.
• Perform general repairs within reasonable expectations.
