Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain facility equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will work independently at times and use motorized lifts and rental equipment as needed.

Responsibilities include developing and executing regular maintenance schedules for vehicles and equipment, handling emergencies, procuring supplies, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across all properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience; carpentry and home renovation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out a regular maintenance schedule for vehicles and equipment, including oil changes and monthly inspections.
• Perform non-routine maintenance of equipment, buildings and vehicles and coordinate with supervisors/contractors when needed.
• Handle emergencies and safety compliance, ensuring violations are corrected.
• Pick up supplies and equipment regularly; requisition maintenance supplies.
• Maintain security of departments, supplies, equipment and tools.
• Attend staff meetings and in-services; maintain confidentiality.
• Perform yard work and snow removal; keep a clean, organized work area.
• Execute other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
