Job summary
The Christian Career Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support the Sisters of St. Francis campus in Mishawaka, Indiana. The role focuses on keeping buildings, systems, and grounds safe, efficient, and well-maintained while troubleshooting problems and working independently.
This full-time position offers day and evening shifts, weekends every other, and holiday coverage. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with hands-on experience, reliable, and able to communicate
Qualifications
- Must be mechanically inclined with hands-on experience.
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently, including evenings.
- Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance.
- Troubleshooting equipment and mechanical systems.
- Responding to maintenance requests and completing repairs.
- Testing, adjusting, and inspecting equipment for optimal performance.
- Performing building rounds and system checks.
- Operating hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Following all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
- Working collaboratively with maintenance leadership and other departments.
