Job summary

Community Unit School District 200 is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician/grounds keeper to maintain district buildings, equipment and grounds. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for the first shift or 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM for the second shift, with an on-call rotation for emergencies.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional maintenance or grounds-keeping experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license (not CDL).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a professional maintenance technician or grounds keeper.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license (Not a CDL) and ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose and repair district buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and facilities equipment.
• Operate and test building systems, alarms, and electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Assist with custodial, grounds, and minor construction projects as needed.
