Job summary

Catholic Charities of Housing Office in New York seeks a Maintenance Technician to support facility operations and safety. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, manage work orders in CMMS, and assist with inspections to ensure compliance.

We offer a competitive hourly wage, 35 hours per week, and a supportive team culture. A valid NYS driver’s license and 1–3 years of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience required.
• 1–3 years of experience working with a diverse population.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks: painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs.
• Utilize CMMS for work order management.
• Participate in inspections (Section 8, Building Code, regulatory).
• Maintain organized, tidy, and secure maintenance shop and storage areas.
• Inspect facilities for safety hazards and take appropriate action.
