POAH Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Rock Harbor Village in Orleans, MA. This role supports elderly and disabled residents, performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure safe, secure housing. A minimum of 1 year in apartment maintenance is required; HVAC certification is preferred.

A valid driver’s license may be needed and weekend/on-call work is expected. Join a mission-driven team delivering quality housing management and resident services.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in apartment maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC cert preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and on‑call.
• Able to perform duties 66-100% of the time: on feet, bends, climbs, lifts up to 75lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule and complete make-ready repairs and services.
• Maintain grounds and assist in keeping them neat and clean.
• Inspect and coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
• Adhere to safety rules and EPA/OSHA regulations.
