Job summary

Horizon Health Services is seeking a Property Maintenance professional to perform general repairs, troubleshoot building systems, and manage preventive maintenance. The role requires a NYS driver's license, reliability, and willingness to travel between Horizon locations in Buffalo, NY.

The position is full-time, with daytime hours M-F and a pay range reflective of maintenance roles in New York. The company emphasizes teamwork, safety, and ongoing employee training.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required.
• Open to specialties including plumbing, electrical, patch work, HVAC, home repairs, etc.
• Experience in cleaning, repairing, maintaining, constructing, renovating, demolishing, and moving building systems.
• Clean NYS driver’s license, three years of driving experience, and reliable transportation to travel locally.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, floor covering, painting and seasonal needs.
• Troubleshoot all building systems to proactively maintain building operations.
• Coordinate with vendor and subcontractors.
• Take direction from the Property Manager on issues concerning property management and maintenance.
• Perform universal precautions and follow OSHA and building regulations.
• Manage a preventative maintenance program for building systems.
