Job summary

Continental Carbonic Products specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide, maintaining a reliable network of dry ice distribution facilities across its service area.

The company seeks Maintenance Technicians to support productivity, quality, and safety. A 12-hour shift is planned, with every other weekend off, and a Maintenance Skill Level Exam will determine pay level. Benefits include vacation, holidays, 401k, and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; a 2-year technical degree or related certifications/training is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments, preferably extrusions or compressions with hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, screw compressors, mechanics, electrical systems, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
• Experience with large ammonia refrigeration systems would be a plus.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, and work in tight spaces around machinery.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, employment history verification, and records check.
• A Maintenance Skill Level Exam will be administered to determine pay level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition to protect all plant employees and visitors.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment from blueprints, manuals, or vendor specifications.
• Recognize and perform machine adjustments to manufacturing systems.
• Determine corrective actions based on PLC/Display Monitor messages or similar panels.
• Assist with installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment.
• Follow and maintain records for Process Safety Management procedures.
• Monitor process and production equipment for proper operation.
• Oversee equipment changeovers as necessary.
• Notify management of potential equipment issues or abnormalities.
• Assist management in training manufacturing employees in proper equipment use.
• Maintain organization of the Maintenance Repair Area.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Continental Carbonic maintains a reliablenetwork of dry ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout itsservice area. This integrated distribution network ensures that ContinentalCarbonic can quickly react to customers' needs.

Continental Carbonic is looking forMAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible forproviding support to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, andsafety. A Maintenance Exam will be administered. This will be a 12-hourshift (hours TBD), with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition to help ensure the protection of all plant employees and visitors.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment from blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications.
• Recognize and perform machine adjustments to the various manufacturing machine systems
• Determining corrective actions based on operational and trouble messages provided by Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Display Monitors or other similar display panels.
• Assisting with installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment.
• Understands, follows, and maintains proper records for Process Safety Management procedures and requirements.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of process and production equipment for proper operation.
• Participate in and oversee equipment changeovers as necessary.
• Notify management of any potential equipment issues or other noted abnormalities.
• Assist management in training manufacturing employees in the proper use of equipment.
• Maintain the organization of the Maintenance Repair Area and any other area where repair work is in progress.

Assist coworkers with production or other tasks as requested.

Compensation: $25.00-38.00
