Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Bradenton, FL

Join Forest Properties Management, Inc. as an experienced Maintenance Technician to support two of our properties in Bradenton, FL. The role involves performing corrective, preventative, cosmetic, and emergency maintenance tasks within the apartment community. You will work with a team to ensure all maintenance needs are met efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform repairs on appliances, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical systems, and heating/cooling systems.
2. Complete all service requests accurately and promptly.
3. Prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including cleaning as needed.
4. Report building, ground, or system issues to supervisors for corrective action.
5. Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, vendors, and administrative staff.
6. Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of one year experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, or painting.
• HVAC or appliance repair experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs or more and perform physical activities such as walking, crouching, bending, reaching into small spaces, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills with basic reading, writing, and math abilities.
• Own tools and reliable transportation required.
• Legal eligibility to work in the USA and ability to provide proof.
