Job summary

LV Property Management in Lombard, IL, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. You’ll diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and carpentry, and maintain occupied apartments with professionalism.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and general maintenance know‑how.
• Apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and carpentry as needed.
• Complete service requests in occupied apartments efficiently and professionally.
• Troubleshoot problems and implement lasting solutions, not just quick fixes.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and ensure move‑in readiness.
• Perform preventative maintenance to catch issues early.
• Maintain property appearance, curb appeal and seasonal grounds needs.
• Document and track work orders in the maintenance system.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and the team.
• Rotate on‑call duties for urgent after‑hours needs.
• Own tasks from start to finish and ensure quality workmanship.
