Job summary

Actus Nutrition is hiring a Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator for the night shift to oversee boiler systems, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose equipment issues to keep production running smoothly. Candidates must have a Special Boilers license with the ability to obtain the Class B license within 18 months.

2–3 years of maintenance experience in a food processing environment is preferred; PLC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have Special Boilers license with the ability to obtain the Class B Boilers license within 18 months of hire.
• 2–3 years previous maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.
• High degree of attention to detail, precision and follow through.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of PLCs and ammonia a plus.
• Preferred 2nd Class B Boilers License.

• Oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and production equipment
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration, etc.
• Able to follow written instructions for assigned tasks

ACTUS NUTRITION IS OFFERING A $3,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR THIS ROLE!!!

TheMaintenance/Boiler Operator has the responsibility to oversee and troubleshoot and monitor readings of boiler system, perform maintenance on equipment, as well as diagnose and repair equipment as needed.

Must have Special Boilers license with the ability to obtain the Class B Boilers license within 18 months of hire.

Pay: $27.00 to 34.00/hour USD based on experience. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to education, skill set and depth of experience. Additional$1.00 USD night-shift differential

Shift : 6:00PM - 6:00AM on a rotational schedule.
