The Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as minor repairs at the venue. This role involves a variety of skilled duties across one or more building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical work, or other recognized crafts, aimed at maintaining and repairing the building.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine, repetitive daily inspections and maintenance to uphold the facility's appearance and standards, including preventative maintenance when necessary.
• Service, maintain, install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair attraction equipment as needed.
• Complete maintenance tasks promptly, ensuring repairs are safe and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct attraction walk-throughs to verify all fixtures and equipment are operational before and during events.
• Coordinate with building management and third-party vendors for proper installation and repairs of equipment.
• Advise when external contractors are needed and review their estimates for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical trade school experience preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience supporting maintenance across various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools, and lift at least 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk long distances, and climb ladders or staircases as needed.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Professional, personable, and capable of establishing effective working relationships.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, diverse environment and accommodate a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures, including completing safety training.
