Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for Avra at Ridge Gate in Parker, CO. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks to keep the community safe and well-maintained.

Excellent customer service and problem-solving are essential as you work with residents and vendors. You will handle inspections, inventory, and documentation while contributing to capital projects and overall curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC certification is preferred.
• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment, buildings, and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents via make-ready and turn processes.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment for maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Maintain curb appeal through grounds and common area upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulations.
• Maintain records of work orders, inspections, inventory, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Assist with inventory management and maintaining maintenance supplies.
• Support capital improvement and community projects as needed.
• Promote a safe, welcoming community environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience preferred• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance practices• HVAC certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills• Excellent customer service and communication abilities• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments efficiently• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment• High school diploma or GED required• Basic computer and mobile technology skills for work order management systems and communication platforms• Experience with Yardi, ResMan, On-Site, or other property management software preferred• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required by the position• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation requiredWhy You'll Love Working With UsWe believe in taking care of our team just as much as our residents.
