Peak Living in Minnesota seeks a Maintenance Technician to bring units up to market-ready condition under the Service Manager. Work hours vary by community needs and may include weekends and after-hours emergencies.

You will perform make-ready repairs, assist with building and common areas, and support preventative maintenance to protect property equipment. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year in property maintenance, with boiler experience preferred.

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience in property management.
• Boiler experience is preferred.
• CPO certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must speak English.

• Complete assigned work orders to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• Boiler experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
