Job summary

CareOne Harmony Village Cherry Hill is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our dedicated team. responsibilities include daily rounds, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic aspects of the facility.

You will work closely with staff to enhance residents' living spaces and ensure safety and comfort. Minimum two years of maintenance experience and at least one year in construction or trades are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years on-the-job maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year construction or professional trade experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple hand and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily physical plant rounds and inspect for repair needs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance rounds for facility systems.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs; painting as required.
• Check maintenance logs at least three times daily and correct issues as needed.
• Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and problem-solving tasks.
• Collaborate with staff to improve residents' living quarters and comfort.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance across facility systems.
• Participate in special projects as directed by Maintenance Director.
