Avanti Residential is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for Arte Grand Central in Miami, FL. You’ll prepare units for move-ins, perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting repairs, and keep common areas safe and presentable.

You’ll work 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call, complete work orders within 24 hours, participate in grounds care, and enjoy benefits like premium pay for after-hours work, annual or quarterly bonuses, tuition reimbursement, a generous PTO

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred where applicable.
• Valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance required.
• Strong written, verbal and oral communication skills.

What You’ll Do…

• Prepare units for move‑ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct unsafe conditions, including reporting any safety concerns to the Service Manager and or Community Manager immediately.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager and/or Service Manager and report any emergency work orders in a timely manner.
• Responsible for 24‑hour emergency maintenance and on‑call responsibilities.
• Complete grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping such as mulch and sprinkler head replacements when possible.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed…

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred
• CAMT certification preferred but not required
• CPO certification preferred for properties where applicable based on local regulations and property‑specific operational requirements.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and up‑to‑date vehicle insurance is required.
• If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening the Wonderlic pre‑employment assessment is required. The assessment will arrive in the email inbox that you provided.
