Job summary

VanTran Industries, Inc. is seeking an Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our manufacturing team.

This entry-level role provides hands-on training under the Maintenance Supervisor and senior technicians, focusing on preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and facility upkeep to develop progressive skills for advancement to a full Maintenance Technician position. You will work on-site with standard 5S and safety practices, participate in root-cause analysis, and support reliability programs

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and CMMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, tools, and facility systems.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment issues.
Install new or replacement machinery and equipment according to specifications.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize production interruptions.
Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS.
Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
