Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC offers a four-year apprenticeship program for aspiring maintenance technicians. Trainees will learn to repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment used in production and packaging while earning a paycheck.

The program includes hands-on training, safety instruction, and structured classes designed to build skills in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic schematics reading. This on-site role emphasizes reliability and safety on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Proven mechanical aptitude.
• Previous maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate reporting of hours for apprenticeship credit.
• Complete assigned training classes and maintain passing levels on courses.
• Effectively and safely operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance from daily up to Semi-Annual.
• Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics at 50%.
• Complete minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical related issues without direct supervision.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and other departmental policies.
