Job summary

Newport Pacific Capital is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician for a 252-unit apartment community in Sonora, California. This role requires performing diverse maintenance tasks with strong troubleshooting skills, including plumbing, electrical, groundskeeping, pool care, and carpentry to keep properties in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of general maintenance experience, can work independently or in a team, and may respond to urgent issues after hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience (property management experience a plus)
• Skilled in operating various hand tools, landscaping equipment, and general maintenance equipment
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Available to respond to occasional urgent maintenance issues outside of normal business hours

Responsibilities

• Building and facility maintenance.
• Plumbing and electrical systems.
• Submeter utility systems and meter reading (gas, electric and water).
• Groundskeeping and landscape.
• Swimming pool maintenance.
