Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. seeks an ASU Maintenance Technician in Lakeland, FL to perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and piping systems to ensure safe, reliable operation of air separation plants. Travel may be required to other locations.

The role supports plant operations, may cover Plant Operator duties, and requires reading diagrams, using CMMS MAPS, and coordinating with management and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-3 years technical degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• 4-6 years maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with compressors (centrifugal, reciprocating, screw), pumps, valves and expanders preferred.
• Experience with CMMS MAPS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment inspections and preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate equipment malfunctions and coordinate corrective actions.
• Read process diagrams, wiring schematics and equipment manuals.
