Job summary

Viridian Management seeks a Maintenance Technician for a multi-family affordable housing project at Gateway Apartments in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The ideal candidate is self-driven, adaptable, and collaborative, with humility and integrity and a strong team focus.

The role covers unit turns, basic plumbing/electrical, painting, appliance repairs, cleaning, and property inspections in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols. 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday; compensation $23–$26/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in property maintenance or related field
• Basic proficiency in carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair
• Basic computer skills (email, internet) and ability to learn required mobile apps
• Own tools and reliable vehicle
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Legally qualified to work in the US

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenant/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
• Assist with scheduling and performance of all maintenance repairs and unit turns
• Conduct and document progress in Yardi mobile app
• Conduct daily property walks and identify health and safety issues
• Maintain general repair, upkeep and cleanliness of property including grounds and common areas
• Perform tasks requested by Site Manager or Regional Manager
