Job summary

Idm-Companies-1 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the community's physical integrity and deliver a clean, well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role requires prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting while upholding excellent customer service.

You will maintain facilities and grounds, operate and repair on-site equipment safely, and complete detailed make-ready turnovers including painting and carpentry.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant maintenance experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Follows practices for safe operation, maintenance and repair of all on-site equipment, including OSHA compliance.
• Responsible for detailed turnover of apartments, including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, and completion of a detailed make ready checklist.
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on-call maintenance requests.
• Participates in the on-call rotation with the rest of the Maintenance Team.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Compliance with company policies while maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings as necessary.
