Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support primary Daniels Health site operations and regional locations. You will service electro-mechanical equipment including robotic washlines, autoclaves, boilers, and other facility equipment to keep operations running.

The role involves travel and occasional short-notice support to regional sites for emergency maintenance, with a 6K sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, experience in mechanical assemblies and production equipment & robotics.
• Welding, experience with basic repair work.
• Electrical, ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditions.
• PLC, ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machines, with telephone support.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of equipment
• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs
• Communicating with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules and support
• Assemble, align, and install equipment and machine upgrades as necessary while adhering to timeline and budget
• Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
• Communicating with Plant Managers to arrange downtime to complete maintenance activities
• Reports each week of tasks completed & still to be completed.
• Remote service assistance to plants with issues, get them back in production as quickly as possible.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the equipment located at primary Daniels Health site, as well as support assigned regional locations. The candidate will be required to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment, including Daniels robotic washlines, autoclaves, Boilers and various other facility equipment to support the site operations. The role includes travel and on occasion short notice support to regional sites where emergency maintenance is required. The candidate shall have a strong background in maintenance of production equipment, boilers, autoclaves and knowledge of the working operations of a medical waste processing center.

What You Will Do?

• Daily maintenance of equipment

Nice-To-Have Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical waste processing or similar regulated environments
• Experience with autoclaves
• Knowledge of inventory management systems such as MaintainX
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Pay & Sign On Bonus

• 6K Sign on Bonus: To be paid out 2K after 30 days of employment, 2K after 90 days of employment, and 2K after 6 months of employment.
• $25.23 - $35.67 an hour
• The pay range for this position is $25.23 to $35.67 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors unique to each candidate, such as prior experience, skill, certifications, and work location. Pay variations by location reflect local conditions and differences in the cost of labor.
