Job summary

AWI Management Corp. in Selma, CA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 24-unit senior apartment community. The role focuses on keeping the property safe, clean, and well-maintained, with a on-site housing option.

You will perform general maintenance (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry), manage work orders, and coordinate with vendors and the Property Manager to ensure quality living spaces for residents.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition.
• Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal.
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies.
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations.
• Following company policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do
