Job summary

AWI Management Corp. in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain an 81-unit apartment community. This role values reliability, problem-solving, and pride in creating a safe, well-maintained home for residents.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance requests, basic trades, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, inspections, coordinating with vendors, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting.
• Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful.
• Authorized to work in the United States and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to keep building systems in good condition.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping for strong curb appeal.
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to order supplies and vendors.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Report lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations.

WhatYou'llDo

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is wellmaintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing maintenance requests and work ordersin a timely manner

• Assistingwithpreventative maintenanceto ensure building systemsremainin good working condition

Basic Requirements

• Reliable transportation
