Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment in a fast-paced chocolate manufacturing facility. The role includes troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems, plus machining and packaging equipment across processes.

The position offers a 4-shift schedule with 12-hour shifts and a $5K sign-on bonus. Pay ranges from $36.52–$40.58 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium, with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience and/or technical degree or trade certification.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving for process and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment with precision, maintaining close tolerances.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM).
• Support Operations with equipment setup, changeovers, and operator training in AM activities.
• Document Work Orders in SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance; participate in TPM activities.
