Job summary

Monroe Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Columbia, SC. The role ensures the safety, appearance, and operation of our properties, coordinating upkeep and outside vendors under the Community Manager's supervision.

Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, inspections, budgeting, and ensuring Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing for residents; strong emphasis on maintenance quality and timely Make-Ready preparation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Apartment/ multi-family Maintenance.
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write).
• The ability to pass a full background check

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structure.
• Performs property and unit inspections.
• Maintains the property curb appeal and general cleanliness.
• Schedules and maintains Make-Ready Board.
• Purchasing materials & Budget Management.
• Ensure that maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all residents.
