Job summary

Schafer Industries in Blacklick, OH, seeks a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, following safety and predictive maintenance processes. You’ll contribute to safer, more productive operations on a 5x8 day shift.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/Equivalent with 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience and HVAC.
• Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Good English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs during production.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust systems.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Adhere to safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with supervisor on large facility projects.
