Job summary

Capstone is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include supporting conveyors, automated sortation equipment, electrical systems, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. Ability to lift up to 81 pounds and work a shift schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in maintenance or equivalent from two-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as maintenance technician.
• Solid understanding of AC/DC electrical equipment and controls.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace electrical equipment including VFDs, relays, and encoders.
• Inspect and repair mechanical components like motors, belts, bearings, and drive chains.
• Inspect, repair, and replace pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and industrial equipment.
• Record maintenance activities and communicate findings to supervisors.
