Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is hiring for a Maintenance Technician on the Marion Health campus. The role runs 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am with days TBD, in a hospital setting.

The technician will troubleshoot equipment, manage plumbing, and supervise the building automation system, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Requirements include 3-5 years of related experience, strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with Building Automation Systems and

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean record.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems is preferred.
• Experience with computerized work order systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, and stopping leaks.
• Supervising and adjusting the building automation system for patient and staff comfort.
• Testing generators, replacing light fixtures, and addressing general building issues.
• Using drawings and manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs.
• Coordinating work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventive maintenance on emergency power, lighting, HVAC, and related systems.
• Conducting building and mechanical room inspections per maintenance program.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of maintenance duties in a hospital setting. This is a 3rd shift 11pm to 7:30am schedule. Days of the week TBD.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
• Supervising and making adjustments to the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures and light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles and responding to general building issues.
• Using drawings, wiring diagrams, operations & maintenance manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and making repairs.
• Coordinating specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks on the emergency power system, emergency lighting, ice machines and refrigerators, HVAC equipment and other building systems as assigned.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections in accordance with maintenance program.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.
