ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime. Responsible for setup, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Support Equipment (Ovens, Packing lines, Conveyors)
• Plumbing, Pneumatic, Hydraulics, Cutting
• Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills; Service-oriented (responsive)
• Power Industrial Training Certification a plus
• Electrical, PLC Diagnostics a plus
• Welding MIG, TIG, Stick a plus
• Self-Starter - able to start and complete projects independently
• Effective communicator; Process-oriented, methodical
• High School Diploma
• 2-5 years’ experience in industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, lifting (up to 60 pounds), climbing, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours
