Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician to ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoot during downtime, perform repairs and complete preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting, facility repairs, and supporting Lean/5S practices. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent movement.

Qualifications

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• The ability to read electrical schematics and vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Requires basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Must have ability to multi-task and identify and execute process improvements as needed.

• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Performs duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Maintains and performs repairs to the facility.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

MCC is looking for a Maintenance Tech/Electrician. The main duties of the Technician are to ensure that all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshooting during unscheduled equipment downtime, repairs and complete preventive maintenance service.

• Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed
• This position requires frequent walking.
