Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is hiring a Maintenance Procurement Coordinator in York, PA to manage parts inventory, coordinate with vendors, and process invoices and PO numbers through the Radius system. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports the maintenance department with a range of related responsibilities.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years purchasing experience, and familiarity with Radius/SAP. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Minimum of 2 years of purchasing-related experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatics.
• Experience with Radius, SAP, or other Production/Customer Management System required.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain parts inventory to keep stock at required levels.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors regarding order status and delivery times.
• Process returns of defective parts and arrange replacements for credits.
• Shop for best price and availability from multiple vendors.
• Source parts that may be proprietary to certain manufacturers.
• Process invoices, issue PO numbers through Radius and coordinate with accounts payable.
• Keep management updated on lead times and supply chain issues.
• Maintain maintenance storage area and trigger re-orders as needed.
• Update daily KPI boards and maintain department filing.

The Maintenance Procurement Coordinator (MPC) is respon sible for ordering, receiving, tracking, and storing parts. They will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will assist in completing a wide variety of tasks from purchasing parts to collecting cost data to maintaining KPI information. This position requires flexibility and willingness to do a wide range of tasks that may be outside the scope of the position but still within the responsibilities of the maintenance department .

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain parts inventory for all parts in stock, ensuring that stock levels do not fall below required levels


• Communicate with vendors and contractors regarding order status, delivery times and availability


• Process returns of defective parts, arranging replacements and ensuring company receives a credit for all returned parts


• Shop best price and availability of parts from a variety of vendors


• Find ways to source parts that may be proprietary to certain manufactures


• Process invoices for payment, issue PO numbers through Radius Program and work with accounts payable to resolve any vendor issues


• Keep management updated on lead times and any supply chain issues


• Maintain the parts storage area to insure it is well organized and parts removed from inventory are re-ordered


• Maintain m aintenance daily MDI board by updating KPI’s


• Maintain filing in the maintenance department


• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required


• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required


• Minimum of 2 years of purchasing-related experience required


• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatics


• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.


• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.


• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.


• Experience with Radius, SAP, or other Production and Customer Management System required


• Experience operating a forklift is preferred

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
