Job summary

MCC is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech/Electrician at our Neenah facility. You will ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are current, troubleshoot during downtime, perform repairs and complete preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance in a multi-shift environment, and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives. The role requires multi-tasking and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and handle materials for extended time.

• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Maintains and performs repairs to the facility.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Overview

MCC is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech/Electrician at our Neenah facility. The main duties are to ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoot during unscheduled downtime, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance service.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment
• Performs duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
• Maintains and performs repairs to the facility
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems
• Ability to multi-task and identify and implement process improvements as needed
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and handle materials for extended time
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed
• Frequent walking required
