Hallmark is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday night–Friday morning, 10 pm–6 am) in the Technical Systems department. The role covers routine maintenance, projects, emergency repairs and troubleshooting across sortation, automation, conveyors and related equipment.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.
The Maintenance Technician position is a 3rd Shift position working Sunday night-Friday morning, 10pm-6am.
The Maintenance Technician position in the Technical Systems department encompasses a wide array of skilled disciplines. It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Technician to work side by side with other Specialists and Technicians, performing routine maintenance, projects, emergency repairs and troubleshooting. The incumbent works closely with managers, co-workers and independently with little or no supervision. Equipment responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: sortation systems, automation systems, stacker cranes, Clerical print room, tilt-tray sorter, stretch wrappers, conveyor systems and miscellaneous other equipment. Incumbent works overtime when needed.
Teamwork, cooperation and flexibility, along with LEAN principles of problem solving and elimination of waste are expectations of the position. Additionally, every employee is responsible for their personal safety, as well as the safety of their peers. Adherence of established safety policies and procedures, along with the reporting of all injuries and unsafe conditions are also requirements of this position. Business needs of the department may require additions or changes to the duties of this position.
