Associated Materials, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance department in a manufacturing environment. The role involves preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting in projects to support plant requirements.
Responsibilities include analyzing mechanical and electrical systems, installing equipment, and performing PM activities. The position requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience and proficiency with CNC, servo drives, and PLC systems.

The role of the Maintenance Technician is crucial in providing technical support for the AM's Maintenance department, resolving complex maintenance issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of machinery and equipment. This position involves professional and collaborative coordination and communication with other departments.
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs machinery and equipment to original standards, and responds to trouble calls to support production and other departments. They are also responsible for projects supporting plant requirements and ensuring adherence to safety and best-practice procedures.
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
