Job summary

Conagra Brands in Kent, WA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and performance of production equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime in a fast-paced facility.

Responsibilities include repairs, installations, and documenting work orders, while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes.
• Repair or replace defective equipment components to restore functionality.
• Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Partner with production teams to respond quickly to equipment issues.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $35.00 an hour + $$1.00 shift differential

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the reliability and performance of production equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and maintain a safe and efficient facility.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting practices
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed
