Job summary

Conagra Brands in Kent, Washington, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support reliability and performance of production equipment in a fast-paced facility.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and repair or replace components to minimize downtime while collaborating with operations and engineering teams. Shift is 9:30 PM–6:00 AM; hourly rate starts at $35 with a $1 differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting practices.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes.
• Repair or replace defective equipment components to restore functionality.
• Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Partner with production teams to respond quickly to equipment issues.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job description

Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM Hourly Rate: $35.00 an hour + $$1.00 shift differential Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the reliability and performance of production equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and maintain a safe and efficient facility.
