Qualifications

Job description

Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician – 3rd SHIFT to support equipment reliability and facility performance across our manufacturing operations.

This role exists to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity. The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, support equipment installations, and partner closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness.

This is a hands‑on technical role for a mechanically and electrically skilled professional who thrives in fast‑paced industrial environments and understands the direct impact of maintenance performance on operational success.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and high‑pressure hydraulic systems
  • Experience with temperature controls, combustion furnaces, minor refractory repairs
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repair solutions
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records within CMMS systems
  • Collaborate with Production to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and facility regulations
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Respond to emergency maintenance needs as required

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
  • Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment preferred
  • Experience using CMMS systems
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including nights or weekends if required
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  1. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and work in an area with loud noises and vibration.
