Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Olean, NY facility. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and improving electrical test equipment and automated manufacturing equipment. The base hourly rate is $25.52 with a $1.50 shift differential per hour, reflecting night shift hours.

CORE HOURS: 10PM - 6:30AM. Benefits include Day One Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K with match, retirement plan, paid vacation & holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Olean, NY.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain high-voltage electrical equipment, machinery, controls and related components.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot production test stations using electrical codes, schematics, blueprints and technical specifications.
• Diagnose electrical equipment and test-station failures and determine appropriate repairs or corrective actions.
• Perform electrical testing, evaluate results and recommend changes that improve accuracy, equipment performance and reliability.
• Calibrate test stations and maintain required test records, reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance personnel and partner with engineering on equipment and process improvements.

These are hands-on industrial electrical maintenance roles focused on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and improving electrical test equipment and automated manufacturing equipment. The hourly rate for this position is $25.52 plus $1.50 shift differential per hour. Required qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in electronics, electrical technology, industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Experience maintaining electrical/electronic equipment in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs, high-voltage equipment, manufacturing test equipment and electrical testing.
• Two or more years of electrical tester maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints and schematics.
