POSITION Industrial / Manufacturing Electrician

LOCATION Carrollton, TX

Summary

This position is responsible for performing skilled electrical maintenance and repair work in an industrial manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems and equipment, while supporting the overall maintenance team and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Compensation

Hourly pay is based on experience and skill level $30 - $40 per hour

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance tasks including replacing fuses, wiring, lighting components, and related parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions such as shorts, faulty wiring, and control panel issues using schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and assist in completing scheduled electrical inspections and service tasks.
• Conduct regular visual inspections of electrical systems and components to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant food safety or regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment in all assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, troubleshooting, and repair methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety practices and electrical codes applicable to industrial environments.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing or industrial facility with moderate to high noise levels.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• May require occasional work in elevated or confined spaces.
