Job description

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technicianis responsible for the ongoing maintenance of industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, Caubet coating lines, and general building maintenance. Duties include:

• machine troubleshooting and maintenance

• metal fabrication/welding
• pipe fitting

Hours are: 11 pm to 7:30 am, with some flexibility, Sunday through Thursday. Initial hours (30 days) will be day shift for training purposes and then a transition to third shift. There is a $1.25/hr shift differential for all hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am. Some overtime as needed. There may be occasional travel to customer locations as required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• A high school education or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical competence.
• Basic math comprehension skills.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Willingness to assist on customer field projects.
• Ability and willingness to work OT and weekends, as needed.
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion bending and stretching, and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, with assistance.
• Minimal electrical knowledge required.
• A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with machinery.

Starting rate is from $31+/hr. Higher rates would depend upon experience. Benefits package with a zero deductible health care plan, dental, vision, short and long term disability, 401(k), PTO.
