Job description

Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift Only

The Maintenance Technician performs all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all buildings, grounds, plant machinery, and equipment.

Location: Stericycle, 4245 Maine Ave, 33801

Schedule:

• Sunday: 8:00pm - 6:00am
• Monday - Thursday: 11:00pm - 7:30am

Starting Rate: $22.32 (BOE) + $1.00 shift premium

Experience

• 2+ years of experience and/or training, demonstrating the ability to identify repairs needed and ensure scheduled production runs are met.
• Experience with forklifts, aerial lifts, and rigging equipment in maintenance activities.
• Experience with LOTO procedures and permit-confined space programs related to maintenance.

Licenses and Competencies

• Possession of boiler, welding, or electrical certifications/licenses is helpful.
• Ability to ask questions, gather information, and identify problems to repair or coordinate repairs.
• Ability to think critically and stay calm under stress.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to provide feedback and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
